Belgium is situated in Western Europe in the North Sea Region. Neighbouring countries are: France to the west, Luxembourg to the south, Germany to the east and the Netherlands to the north. The weather in Belgium is not very hot, but is quite sailor-friendly in summer. The country is located in the moderate maritime climate zone, so average temperatures are between 18 and 20°C; in winter – between -3 and 3°, depending on the region.

This country is also famous from the biggest diversity of beer – types, brands as well as the number of breweries.
